27. If, before any officer so invested, a suit relating both to such land and other property be instituted, the said officer shall make a reference regarding the disposal of such suit to the Commissioner of the division in which the district wherein the suit was instituted is included, who shall determine by what Court the suit shall be tried. Limitation law not to apply to certain suits relating to tenures.
