(1) The Wakf Commissioner, Survey Commissioner, members of the Board, every auditor, every officer and servant of the Board and every other person duly appointed to discharge any duties imposed on him by this Act or any rule or order made thereunder, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
