Reference to Mining Board or Committee in lien of prosecution in certain cases.— (I) If tho court trying any case instituted at the instance of the Ohief Inspector or ol the district magistral e or of an Inspector under this Act is of opinion thul the ease IS one which should, iu lieu of a prosecution, be referred to a Mining Board or a (Vrrnmitten it may stay the criminal proceedings, and report the matter to the Central Government with a view to such reference being made.
