CHAPTER V. SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS. Extension of enactments to cantonments. 25. The Governor General in Council may, by notification in the Gazette of India, extend to all cantonments or to any cantonment or to any part of any cantonment any enactment for the time being in force in any municipality in British India, and declare its extension to be subject to such restrictions and modifications, if any, as he thinks fit.
