95. Power to require drainage, &c., of unwholesome tanks, &c. Dangerous Buildings and Places. 96. Power to require buildings, wells, tanks, &c., to be secured. 95. The committee may, by notice, require the owner or occupier of any land or building to cleanse, repair, cover, fill up or drain off any private tank, well, reservoir, pool or excavation therein, which appears to the committee to be injurious to health or offensive to the neighbourhood: Provided that, if for the purpose of effecting any drainage under this section it is necessary to acquire any land not belonging to the person who is required to drain his land or to pay compensation to any other person, the committee shall provide the land or pay the compensation.
