157. Effect of including local area in municipality. Powers 180 Burma Municipalities. [Acts] Powers to except Municipalities from Provisions of Act SECTIONS. 157. When a local area is included in a municipality under section 155, this Act, and, except as the Local Government may otherwise, by notification in the official Gazette, direct, all rules, orders, directions and powers made, issued or conferred under this Act and in force throughout the whole municipality at the time the local area is so included, shall apply to the local area.
