9. Section 31 of the principal Act shall be re-numbered as subsection (1) of that section, and after sub-section (1) as so re-numbered, the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:— "(2) Without prejudice to the provisions contained in subsection (1), any drug in respect of which the Court is satisfied, on the application of an Inspector or otherwise and after such inquiry as may be necessary, that the drug is not of standard quality or is a misbranded drug, shall be liable to confiscation.".
