Section 28. Application of other laws not barred

28. Application of other laws not barred.— The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of any other law for the time being in force. 28. Section 42A, in sub-section (1), — (a) for "Controller or an officer authorised by him", substitute "Authority or an officer authorised by it"; (b) for "an application to him", substitute "an application to it".
