44. (1) Every 44. ( 1) Every salaried officer and teacher of of service. the University shall be alnpointed oil a mrrittcn coutract. The contract shall bc lodged with the Registrar of the University, aucl a copy thereof shall be furnished to the officer or teacher concerned. (2) Any member of the public services in India whom it is proposed to appoint to a post in the University shall, subject to the approval of such appointment by the Government, have the option- - `(4)` of having his services lent to - the University for a specified period and remainiizg liable to recall to Governmeilt service at the discretion of the Government at the e ad of that 11eriod ; or - (ii) of resigning Government service on entering the service of the University.
