Provision as to sitting member .—The sitting member of the House of the People representing the constituency which, on the appointed day, by virtue of the provisions of section 8 becomes the constituency of the State of Mizoram, shall be deemed to have been elected under sub-clause (a) of clause (1) of article 81 to the House of the People by that constituency.
