( I ) , Every- village-headmag and village-watchman in a village in which any members of a criminal tribe reside, and[[every oTvner or occupier of land on which any such persons ]] reside, and t.he agent of any such owner or occupier, shall forthwith comniunicate to the officer in ,charge of the nearest police-station any informati011 which he may obt.ain of-. viilage-wat&men and ownela and ownela ownela vupte,lsof[[every oTvner or occupier of land on which any such persons ]] informa-, reside, and t.he agent of any such owner or occupier, shall (a) the failure of any such pei-son to appear and give information when required to do so. by a notice issued under section 5 ; or -2- (b) the departure of any registered member of a criminal . . .
