(Receivecl tAe a s s e ~ t `of` An Act for the Repeal of certain Obsolete Enact- ments. WHEREAB it is expedient that the enactments mentioned in the schedule to this Act, which have ceased to be in force otherwise than by express and specific repeal, or have by lapse of time and dange of circumstances become unnecessary, or which merely repeal prior enactments, should be expressly and specifically repealed ; It is hereby enacted as follows :- 1. The enttctments depribed in the schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent mentioned in the tliird column of the same schedule : Enactments in schedule repealed. Provided t h ~ t the repeal by this Act of any enactrhent shall hot affect ahy Btatute, Act or Regulation in which shbh enactment has been applied, incorporated or referred to : And this Acf shall not affect the validity ar invalidity of any thing alfeady done or suffered, or any indemnity already granted, or any right or title already acquired or accrued, or any remedy or proceeding in respect thereof, or the proof of ah$ pa&% act or thing. Nor sh~ll this Act affect any prhciple or rule of law, or established jurisdiction, f o ~ m or course of pleading, pfacti~e or probedme, or existing usage, custom, privilege, restriction, exemption, office or appointment, notwithstanding that the same respeotively may have bew `in` any manner affirmed, recognised, or defived, by, in, or from any enactment hereby repealed : Nor shall this Act provide or restore any jurisdiction, office, custom, privilege, restriction, exemption, usage or practice not now existing or in force.
