Subject to any orders in this behalf that may from time to time be made by the Governor General of India in Council, the Chief Commissioner of Oudh may invest any officer employed in making or revising settlements of revenue with all or any of the powers of a Collector, or Deputy Collector, or Assistant Collector, under this Act.
