58. The application shall be in writing: it shall contain a list or description of the property distrained, and it shall state the name of the defaulter, his place of residence, the amount due, and the place in which the distrained property is deposited. Together 132 ACT No. XIX OF 1868. Together with the application, the distrainer shall deliver to the proper officer the sum payable for the service of a notice upon the defaulter as herein-after provided.
