Section 30. Power to confer powers of Assistant Commissioner and Salt-revenue officers

30. Power to confer powers of Assistant Commissioner and Salt-revenue officers. 30. Subject to the provisions herein contained, and to any rules for the time being in force made by the Governor General in Council, the Local Government or the Commissioner of Northern India Salt-revenue may invest any person with the powers of an Assistant Commissioner under this Act, or with all or any of the powers hereinbefore conferred on Salt-revenue officers.
