Every notice or other document requiring to be served by the Bank upon any proprietor or shareholder 1876.] Presidency Banks. shareholder may be served either personally, or by leaving it for, or sending it through the post by registered letter addressed to him at his registered place of abode; and every notice sent through the post shall be deemed to have been served at the time at which, in the usual course of post, it would have been delivered.
