60. (1) A Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner and the presiding officer of every Court under the control of a Deputy Commissioner may fine, in an amount not exceeding one month's salary, any ministerial officer of his Court for misconduct or neglect in the performance of his duties. (2) The Deputy Commissioner, subject to the general control of the Commissioner, may, on appeal or otherwise, reverse or modify any order made under sub-section (1) by the presiding officer of any Court under his control, and may of his own motion fine up to the amount of one month's salary any ministerial officer of any such Court.
