In section 38 of the principal Act,— (a) in sub-section (1), for the word "Board", the words, brackets and figures "the Board, or where such refusal or failure occurs after the commencement of the Wakf (Amendment) Act, 1984, the Wakf Commissioner", shall be substituted; (b) in sub-section (2), for the word "Board", the words "Board, or, as the case may be, the Wakf Commissioner" shall be substituted.
