In section 23 of the principal Act,— (a) in sub-section (1), for the words "The Board may allow inspection of its proceedings or other records in its custody", the words "The Wakf Commissioner may allow inspection of the proceedings of the Board or other records in his custody" shall be substituted; (b) in sub-section (2), for the words "Secretary of the Board", the words "Wakf Commissioner" shall be substituted; (c) in sub-section (3),— (i) for the word "Secretary", the words "Wakf Commissioner" shall be substituted; 3 Law—87. ok 1984] Wakf (Amendment) (ii) for the words "authorised in this behalf by the Board", the words "authorised in this behalf by the Wakf Commissioner" shall be substituted.
