The Local Governmeut may, by notification in the oEcial Gazette, make rules generally for cxrrying out the purposes of this Act, and in particular- - (a) for the guidance of all or any of tlie officers discharging any duty under this Act; and - (6) for the management of, and the maintenance of discipline in, a leper asylum. 1.7.
