32. The Local Government may make rules- POWCT of I . O C ~ ~ G>~vernment tc - (a) providing for any matter which, according to any of k$:lz::,to tlle provisions of this Chapter, is or may be tu~ prescribed ; c h ~ ~ c r . - (b) requiring the rnmagei.5 of factories to maintain stores of first-aid appliances and provide for their proper custody; (c) providing against danger arising from the use of mechanicar t.ransport in factories, other than railways subject to the Indian Railways Act, 1890; (d) prescribing the manner of the service of orders under this Chapter on managers of factories; - (e) regulating the procedure to be followed in presentins and hearing appeals under section 31, and the appointrnent and remuneration of assessors; - (I) regulating the exercise by Inspectors of their powers under this Chapter; and - (g) providing for any other matter which may be eupedient in order to give effect to the plovisions of this Chapter.
