CHAPTER III NAGAR PANCHAYAT 6. Incorporation of Nagar Panchayat. —A Nagar Panchayat shall be a body corporate by its name, having a perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract, and shall sue and be sued in its name.
