Section 46. Employment of women

46. Employment of women-.—Iso woman shall be employed at any time of the day OT night in any part of a mine which is below the adjacent ground level, and no woman shall -be employed in any mine above ground except between the hours of 6 A.M. and 7 P.M. : Provided that the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, varv the hours of employment of women, above ground in respect of any mine or class or description of mine, so however thfct no employment of any woman between the hours of 10 P.M. and 5 A.M. is permitted thereby^
