Section 56. Leave of absence of Commissioner

56. Leave of absence of Commissioner.— (1) Leave may be granted to the Commissioner by the Standing Committee. (2) Whenever such leave is granted to the Commissioner the[1] [[2] [Central Government]] shall appoint another person to officiate as Commissioner in his place.
