An Act to continue the operation of Act No. XIX. of 1845 until the 30th day of April 1855.
Whereas Act No. XIX. of 1845, entitled An Act for incorporating the Assam Company will cease to have effect after the 30th day of April 1854, and it is expedient that some temporary arrangement should be effected to prevent inconvenience to the interests of the Company by the expiry of its Charter before the necessary inquiries connected with a proposition for the renewal and extension of the Charter for a lengthened period can be completed; It is enacted as follows:
