An Act to enable the Governor General in Couacil to increase the fee payable under section thirtyone of the Emigration Act. WHBRBAS, under section nine of Act No. VI of Preamble. 1869 (to amelzd tlze law relating to the A1migration of Native Lccboz6rers), the Governor General of India in Council is empowered to increase any fce payable under sections nineteen, twenty-seven and thirty-four of Act No. XI11 of 1864 ( f o consolidate cuzd amend the law relating to the Bruigratiolz `of` Xative Labourers); and whereas it is expedient that he should also be empowered to increase the fee payable under section thirty-one of the same Act; It is hereby enacted as follows : - 1 The Governor General of India in Council Pomcr to iumay from time to time, by notification in the Gazette of Irzdiu, increase any fee payable under section thirty- A C ~ XIII of one of the said Act No. XI11 of 1864, and may also :?$;? in like manner reduce to its present amount any fee so increascd : Provided that 110 fee shall be iilcreascd under this sectioil by more tllztn double such amount. may from time to time, by notification in the Gazette ~ ; " ~ ~ ~ l ~ ~ ~ d e r
