38. Precautions 5 case of fire.--(I) Every factory shah, be provided with i;u@ means of escape in case of fire as may be prescribed, i n d if it appears to Qhe Inspector that any factory is ilot so provided, he may sei e on the manager of the factory an order in writing specifring the measures w&h, in his opinion -should be adopted to brihg the factory into conformity with th provisions of this section and any rules made thereunder, and requiring the sut. before a' date specified in €be order.
