An Act to remove doubts as to the rights and liabilities of certain Native Soldiers. W H E R E A S doubts have arisen as to the rights and I'reamNe. liabilities of certain Native Soldiers who have been enrolled without having been attested, and it is expedient to remove such doubts; It is hereby enacted as follows :- 1. Every person who has for the space of sixvalidationof months been in the receipt of military pay and enlistment certain Netive `of` been borne on the rolls of any Regiment, Corps, De- soldiers. p8t, Ordnance Establishment, or Department of Her Majesty's Indian Army (of which the last papstatement, if produced, shall be evidence), shall be deemed to have been duly enlisted, enrolled and attested, and shall not be entitled to claim his discharge on the ground of illegality or irregularity in his enlistment, enrolment or attestation, or on any other ground save such as may be recognised by the orders and customs of the service. olze a m a ) .
