4. Where in any enactment in force at the passing of this Act in the territories referred to in section 2, sub-section (1), clause (b), there occurs the expression "British Burma Gazette" or the expression "British Burma" or "Burma" (except where the expression "Burma" occurs in the Petroleum Act, 1886, section 3), it shall be construed as referring to the Burma Division of Upper Burma into divisions, districts, sub-divisions, townships and circles.
