An Act to declare the law in force in Upper Burma. WHEREAS the territories which were formerly governed by King Thebaw have become part of British India; And whereas it is expedient to declare the law in force in those territories, and for this purpose to distinguish between those territories and the territories which were under the administration of the Chief Commissioner of British Burma on the thirty-first day of December, 1885; It is hereby enacted as follows:—
