Protection to persons acting under this Act.— No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act. 7. STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS During the last few months a serios situation had arisen form the immigration of very large number of East Bengal residents into Assam. Such large migration is disturbing the economy of the Province. Besides giving rise to a serious law and order problem.
